The Freedom Center was founded by Chaplain Ed and the Washtenaw County Jail Christian Volunteers in partnership with Whole Man Ministries.

We are a faith based facility created as a one-stop helps, provider for each person who desires help that is released from the county jail.

Our mission and goal is to help in the transformation of each individual, Spirit, Mind, and Body.

Our process is a multi-faceted hands on approach that will be customized to fit each individuals needs and desires.

· We do an in-jail assessment of each inmate

· We offer in-jail classes to begin the process of change in the inmates life.

· We  strive to make a day of release pick-up and connection with one of our trained Life Coaches.

· Our staff will ensure proper connection to readily available resources in the community.

· With customized training we help to create a self-contained, confident individual that can succeed in today’s economy.

· The Freedom Center will provide spiritual, vocational, and life-skills training to compliment each individual at their level.
